Is Moves affiliated with my school?

No, Moves does not have an official affiliation with any university, and no university will ever have access to anything you do on Moves. As of October 2023, it has only launched at Emory University.

Why does Moves ask for my location?

Moves display anonymous aggregate data of what the most popular bars and clubs are within your community on a given night. User location data allows moves to offer accurate community statistics.

Can other users see my identity in the app?

No. Everything in the app is completely anonymous. Neither users nor Moves have access to any information about your personal identity.

When will Moves come to my school?

Moves is only available at Emory University as of October 2023. Email team@movesapp.co (mailto:team@movesapp.co) if you want to see it at yours in the future!

Can I add a Move to the app?

Venues within the app cannot be added by users. However, if you have any venues you would like to see added, feel free to email us at team@movesapp.co.

Can I see chats or data from the past?

You can see all chats and data from the past 24 hours. After this period, this data will disappear, keeping an emphasis on the night ahead.
